Kaylin's 1st ER Visit :(

So lately, little baby girl has been a bit more gassy and fussy than usual because i've been adding formula to the breastmilk. On Friday when I picked her up from daycare, they said she had a temperature of 100.4 When I got her back home, i checked it and i got 100.3 so we were just going to ride it out to see if it got better/worse. She was fine, a little bit of diarrhea, but no fever. Saturday early afternoon, i was holding kaylin in the cradle position walking around the house and she freakin projectile vomited in my face! so i rolled her over and let her finish throwing up onto the ground. She did this probably like 6 or 7 times and kept throwing up this nasty yellow goo...so we took her in.
She didn't have a fever and they said she looked okay, but they wanted me to try to give her some pedialyte (1 oz) and she threw that up instantly. Sadly, we had to hold her down and give her an IV and take blood. Rick of course left, and i was left in there with Kaylin leaning over her head, slightly restraining her and trying to keep in her binky as two other women forcefully held her down and STABBED my precious little one. I was bawling and dripping tears all over little Kaylin. :(
They also wanted to do a urine sample, so they put a bag on her. Just picture taping a ziploc to her, but a little more professional than that. 2 hours later, she finally peed, but because she had diarrhea, the sample was contaminated. We tried again, but after an hour of no pee, they had to put a catheter in her. So rick left, and the three of us ladies assumed our positions.
It turns out that she had gastroenteritis really bad and was super dehydrated... she prob. caught it from that vile wretched daycare i make her go to :(
She's now sleeping, and on strictly pedialyte for the next 24 hours.
MAN!!! its really stressful and hard having your little baby in the ER.
1st pedialyte 1 oz attempt
