After Thanksgiving... Before Christmas

I found this asian outfit at kid-to-kid when kaylin was like 3 months old, and I finally put her in it today... she likes to strike poses and point her toes. :) Rick was getting ready for a fishing trip, and Kaylin was out helping...

My Christmas Crafts

Kaylin and I went shopping at Hobby Lobby the other day and we picked out some different items for craft projects. This wreath matches the style of my Christmas tree, and the zig zag thing was just for fun!

Okay, so this wasn't in Las Vegas, but it was for Thanksgiving. Kaylin's daycare had an eat-with-your-parents luncheon the day before we left for our vacation. All the kids had made a place mat craft. Usually I'm really excited about the crafts that Kaylin makes, and her part of it was cute, but I blame the problem here on the teachers.... look at the crazy picture they chose for her craft... kinda freaky.Allright, now we're in Las Vegas. Teresa was really excited that Kaylin was snuggling with her.... downside to it all was little K was sick. Sorry Jamie... you kept moving!

I took Kaylin around trick or treating... we made it to one house.. haha... and got one piece of candy...she cared more about the weird looking people walking around and then when she was offered her 1st piece of candy at the door, she had no idea what to do with it... so i enjoyed the delicious strawberry laffy taffy and just decided to take pictures instead...

Kaylin was for the most part a happy pirate!!!

She was slightly confused here... i guess she's not used to people singing to her while she's in her high-chair, and she didnt quite know what to do with the cake once it was put down.... i thought she would have ripped into it, but it took her a bit.....and sorry no candle... perhaps you think im a bad mother for not giving her a candle on her birthday... but i know for a fact she would have either grabbed the flame, or tried to eat it.

Kaylin can Walk!!

She's been able to take 5-10 steps for about a month now.... but about 2 weeks ago it finally clicked, and she's a pro now.... able to stand up squat down and grab things.... i love my litttle girl

Kaylin's Bug Crawl

so right after she started crawling, she became more and more adventurous.... her crawl progressed from a little army crawl, to a knee crawl... and then some funky half knee half all fours thing... it's pretty cute...

and now she stands!

everyday she gets stronger, bolder, and more curoius... well... i think she's always been curious, it's just now she can actually go and explore!!! kinda cool..... but as the mommy it sucks because i have to be on the "look out" all the time now....

April was a busy month for me because I was TDY to San Antonio, TX for almost a month, so Kaylin was able to visit up in Utah for a couple weeks.
